One of these approaches, which is a project named “The Repurposed Cotton Project” and which aims at reusing cotton for another purpose, sets out with this question: What if we recycle our excess fabrics and use them in our new designs? Cos saved one and a half tons of 100% cotton from the cut fabrics for a whole year with the cooperation carried out with her supplier in Turkey. This cotton was shredded into thin strips, compressed, knitted, woven, dyed and transformed into a new form. In the end, a 100% cotton sweatshirt was obtained.
