Selçuk University Generates Its Own Electricity With SES

In Konya, Selçuk University fulfills one third of its annual energy need thanks to the electrical energy, obtained from the solar energy plant, established in an area of 20,000 square meters. Once the second and third stages of the project has been completed, it will fulfill all of its electricity requirement from SES.

Sone Energy Will Establish 30 MW’ Gelibolu WPP In Çanakkale

Sone Energy took off the gloves for establishing Gelibolu Wind Power Plant with a capacity of 30MW in Lapseki District of Çanakkale. Gelibolu Wind Power Plant with an installed power of 30 MW will be established and operated by Sone Enerji Yatırım Üretim ve Tic. A.Ş. within the borders of Çamyurt-Dumanlı and Beyçayır Villages of Lapseki District in Çanakkale Province in order to generate electricity power.

44 Billion Eur Investment To Africa For Clean Energy From Europe

Maros Sefcovic, Vice President of the European Commission's Energy Union, said that Europe would invest 44 billion euros to Africa for clean energy projects.Sefcovic, who made a speech within the scope of 2018 Bloomberg Global Business Forum and Single Planet Summit held in New York, stated that; As Europe, we know that some parts of the world are weaker against climate change.

The Most Important Air-Conditioning Fair of Eurasia Gave Hope to the Sector

New trends of air-conditioning sector, where Energy Efficiency and Building Automation systems were included for the first time this year, were exhibited at the ISK-SODEX 2018 fair that passed the test accomplishedly with the new date and new place. 1.108 participants (424 of them international) from 44 countries took the opportunity to form cooperation with high business volume provided by ISK-SODEX at ISK-SODEX 2018.

The First Wind Energy Generator Endowed With 55 Percent Sufficiency Was Produced

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy produced the first wind energy generator that is endowed with “Domestic Goods Certificate” together with Turkish firm EMS Electronics. The first wind energy generator produced with 55 percent sufficiency to be used in wind energy facilities of Turkey was advertised.

Gas Flow Started at TANAP

The opening of Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) that will carry Azeri natural gas to Europe through Turkey took place. President of Turkish Republic Erdoğan, President of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyrus Mustafa Akıncı, President of Azerbaijan İlham Aliyev, President of Serbia Alexander Vuçiç and President of Ukraine Petro Poroşenko attended the opening of TANAP where the first gas flow started.
